Dump Mag Pouch

The bag is a little cumbersome on a belt rig but the quality is over the top.

This is an amazing drop pouch, awesome quality. Issued to me when I was a SWCC in 2006. Still using it in 2016.

I've been using dump pouches on my SWAT rig for around 10 years, and the TAG dump pouch has been the best made pouch of them all. The (3) velcro retaining straps ensure that the pouch stays in place, and can sustain heavier loads. The hard plastic liner at the top ensure that the pouch opening remains ready to receive mags in a hurry, rather than loose material that causes fumbling. The deep pouch suits my needs well, as I tend to hold extra gloves, and a back-up flashlight in the bottom of the pouch, while still having plenty of room to dump 2-3 mags in as well. The first pouch I used had Alice Clips that dug into my back, and were very difficult to adjust. The pouch was also too short and barely handled 2 mags. My next pouch had cheap velcro straps (and only 2) that quickly wore out from heavy use. Another bag was too lightweight and began to tear or get caught up on mags, flashlights and other items I'd toss in. The TAG dump pouch is by far the best I've found to use, and my current one has been running strong for over 3 years. I highly recommend one.

It's a dump pouch. It does what you would expect, and it is very durable, from my observation, and limited use. It can hold my entire loadout's worth of mags, so that's something worth noting as well. That's 6 AR mags, and 2 pistol. It could actually hold more, if I cared to carry more. Easy to access, good retention, and it comes in some nice colorations. It can be rolled up to fit compactly and velcroed (<<real word?) in place. When carried this way, the tag logo is visible to the user. Kinda badass looking, but I actually wish it was located elsewhere, as it breaks up the patterning. Very unlikely to actually cause a problem, but that's just my opinion. Recommended!

If you've ever gone through a tactical training course, you understood the need for this item. I have seen so many people lose their mags because they are trying to fast reload and just drop their mags on the ground. This dump pouch is extremely well designed and worth every penny. You will not be able to beat the quality of this pouch. Other dump pouches are not insulated from moisture like this one is and often can tear or rip. You will not be able to find a better quality pouch for the money. The pouch attaches with three velcro straps that can be woven into your molle gear OR hooked onto a battle/duty belt. Made with highly durable material. this belt is highly recommended.

I have used this dump pouch off my belt and on my back pack. I mainly use this pouch during competitions to throw empty magazines in. It retains the mags because of the rain flap draw string on the inside. I also used this dump puch in a odd way off my back pack. I needed a way to lash my tripod to the outside of my bag. So the dump pouch is used to hold the bottom part of tripod and the top of tripod is lashed to outside of my back pack. It is very effective at holding a tripod still when I am walking around or going to the range. My backpack has webbing on the outside which makes this set up possible. The dump pouch is very rigid and has excellent quality behind it considering the price. There are other dump pouches they just aren't at the price tag offers this one for the features.
