Outside the Wire (OTW) Dual Ballistic Clear Lens - OTW02C Smith Optics

The OTW Dual Ballistic lens is designed for use in the most high risk environments. The two lens system is ideal for individuals working in exposed tasks such as turret gunning and roadside bomb clearing. The lens incorporates two Smith patented technologies and provides impact protection well above that of a single pane lens. There is no sacrifice in optical quality, anti-fog and scratch resistance.

Utilizing processes previously reserved for aerospace and medical capacities, the lenses are robotically bonded together with an airtight silicone bead to eliminate lens delamination the number one cause of fogging between lenses. The OTW Dual Ballistic lens also incorporates Smiths patented and revolutionary, micro-porous filter called a Porex filter. The filter allows air molecules to pass through while blocking water molecules. By utilizing this filter, the dual lens can adjust to varying altitudes while preventing moisture from entering the space between the lenses. This is the worlds strongest thermal lens barrier.

The end result is the OTW Dual Ballistic lens - providing extra protection for unique environments.
