I ve used this boot for around 8 weeks , its the lightest boot , lighter than my running shoes . I would recommend them if you are after a boot to run in or drive , just don't dig holes in them as the sole is very soft and gets damaged easy . Overall a great light boot that don't feel youve got them on , and a cheap price to.

Big fan of anything Rock, the S2V's were a great boot. Decided to go with something lighter this trip to Iraq and these boots are not a let down. They are extremely light. I am bouncing between this boot and the Nike SFB for this deployment and these boots seem to be made to be much more durable than the Nike, although I would not recommend this boot for Afghanistan if your walking the Northern mountains or if your mission is dismounted, just drop the extra money and get the S2V's. The C4 is just not made for heavy load bearing. My feet tend to sweat a lot more in the Nike's not sure what it is about that boot but the C4's are cool with great airflow. The tread on the bottom is great on all surfaces and unlike the Nike doesn't seem to get rocks caught in it, my biggest problem with the Nike SFB. You're not going to go wrong with this boot just look at your mission and what it requires and what kind of performance you need out of your boots.
