TAG'sÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃÃî Large Mountain Ruck is a redesigned version of the old issued mountain ruck. It is made to work with the ALICE frame. The ruck is made from 500 weight Cordura and lined with pack cloth. This combination allows the ruck to be lightweight and still be ultra durable. The shoulder straps and kidney pad are contoured and molded to balance the load and be more comfortable. The 3 general purpose pouches work with the issued Static-Line harness and lowering lines making this pack jumpable. The outside of the ruck has PALS webbing to attach any style MOLLE pouch. Inside the ruck there are two (2) 100oz. hydration bladder pouches sewn into the ruck. Drink tube holes are on the sides so you can drink from your ruck while wearing it. The lid of the ruck has a radio antenna port for radios with center mounted antennas. The Radio pocket has been lowered slightly and made large enough to fit man pack radios. BEST RUCK EVER Michael Lowe (Wetumka, OK) 9/16/2011 4:23 AM I have used this ruck on deployment and back in Fort Bragg. The Frame can take a beating and keep on kicking. I can put everything I need and more into the Ruck it self. I have been using it for bout 2 years straight. I can put pouches on the out side to fit my needs at the time. But I do have one thing to say after all of the stuff I did to it the Frame finally gave out after I loaded way to much on it with a total of 168lbs. I knew that was to much but still I had to try and well it bent a little bit, but other wise than that this is the BEST RUCK EVER.
