I use this catch at work, and boy does it make things easier. With a properly tensioned sling, there is zero movement of the weapon; furthermore, it doesn't sag like some others, namely those without reinforcement. That means no more swinging/bouncing, and no more painful banging of sensitive areas. It even keeps the muzzle clear of the legs while walking, something I've been unable to accomplish with other cathes. One "drawback" I've experienced likely has more to do with how I wear the catch than anything else. I wear mine on the front, and since I'm right handed, I wear it upside down so that the magazine rests on the aluminum reinforced portion, rather than the closure. To compensate for this unusual setup, I 550 corded the molle attachment tabs to the vest to keep them secure. I still had a bit of play, so I tied, for lack of a better word, a 550 suspension to support the catch and hold it firmly upright on the vest without play. Now the catch sits rock solid on the vest and has not needed readjustment or any other tinkering for close to a year. If you pick one of these up and it seems loose, just play with it a while. Once you get it set up right, I almost guarantee you'll love it.
