Features

Manufacturer: TAG
The Intrepid Chest Rig is designed as a single platform for a full combat load out. This chest rig gives you the ability to carry (8) 5.56mm magazines, up to (4) pistol mags that are 9mm, .40cal, or .45 ACP using our universal pistol pouches. These are also great for multi tools or folding knives. You can run dual comms, carry (2) frag grenades, 7.62 ammo, or flash bangs. Center of the main body can be used to carry your pistol if desired. There is pile tape sewn to the magazine pouches so you can add the chemlight strips (good for 12 gauge shells as well) or tear them off when not needed. Chest rig comes with (5) removable strips. Radio pouches will hold PRC-148 and 152 models. Bottom of the pouches open up to allow you access to your battery, makes it easy to change it while it is still in the pouch. Fits easily over any plate carrier as well as full sized armor carriers. Made in USA, lifetime warranty.

This rig might very well be the best purchase I've made as far as my kit is concerned. I was able to carry both of my 148's and the way the rig tightens keeps them from flopping around. The admin pouches on either side are a bit small but perfect for an IFAK on one side and a pair of 14's with whatever mountings that you want with it on the other. With a little work you can put spare 3V and double A's in with either and a small note book as well. The admin slot/holster in the center is perfect for a map and the mesh slot behind it will take a JFIRE or whatever other stuff you need. If you aren't carrying frags you can shove 2x 148 batteries in the frag pouches which fit perfect. If you're an FO or utilize dual comms with either the 148 or 152 and carry some sort of radio bag this rig is about as good as you're going to find. It's not too big and not too small, you can carry everything that you'll need for the most part and the rest can be shoved in a pack or your hydration carrier.
